Now I Love Soccer :)
Looking at my old blog in Friendster, I found an entry which stated how I hate soccer and how I wondered when I would love it.
Roughly English translation (my style of writing back then was really unorganized, so I edited it roughly to ease understanding what I was trying to say):
“I was watching Federer vs Ferrero in the 2nd set. Then, because I was so lazy watching Federer, I turned on my desktop. Around 7 or 8. I thought the match between Nadal and Berdych have been broadcast live. When I switched to StarSports, I found that instead of tennis, it was soccer which was broadcast. Wew, even until now it is still being broadcast LIVE. It’s really annoying since I couldn’t watch MonteCarlo semifinal. My dad said that it could be until half past two. Akh, damn soccer… Soccer is really annoying to watch, the ball was kicked here and there. Goals are rarely made. Haha…
To soccer fans: sorry. I wonder when I would love soccer?? I wonder when..”
I think the past me had never thought the possibility I would love soccer one day. But now I can answer the question: “Hey, I love soccer now! Not as much as I love tennis still, but I have started to enjoy it.” Before, I was whining how the goals are rarely made in soccer. But now, I really love that aspect from soccer. The rarity of a goal made each goal really precious.
